Matletik 6. Sınıf Matematik

Matletik software, developed within the environment of İstanbul Üniversitesi Teknokent, is a brand producing essential content and applet technology for electronic-based support of mathematics education at all levels, adhering to international standards. The Dynamic Mathematics Class 6 application is tailored for 6th-grade students and teachers, encompassing the entirety of the current mathematics curriculum set forth by the Ministry of National Education. It consists of a smart book and hundreds of virtual and dynamic objects known as applets.

Key objectives in the development of this application include:

1. Providing enjoyable and scenario-based learning opportunities focused on concepts and skills, while alleviating concerns and potential negative attitudes towards mathematics.
2. Enabling visual comprehension of all topics in the curriculum along with numerous mathematical concepts and methods, thereby materializing abstract ideas and enhancing mathematical intuition.
3. Facilitating complex processes that are difficult or impossible to carry out manually, such as dividing a circle into a thousand slices, placing it within a rectangle, rolling a die a thousand times, rotating a complex polygon, or searching for our birthday in the digits of Pi up to five million decimals.
4. Equipping students with skills and speed in estimating answers and performing mental calculations through interactive questions, tests, and exams for centralized assessments.
5. Creating an environment for teachers to prepare an unlimited number of error-free questions, lesson notes, and assignments.

The application features a smart book that contains fundamental information organized by units and learning areas, solved problems, unit tests, and numerous embedded applets.

The core of the application consists of three primary types of applets:

• Concept and Topic Applets: These aim to elucidate concepts, formulas, definitions, and methods related to a specific topic through models, graphs, or simulations. Users can discover how learning mathematics can be enjoyable and straightforward with these applets.
• Question Preparation Applets: These allow users to create their own questions and subsequently view their solutions.
• Random Question Applets: Serving as an infinite question bank, these applets generate thousands of questions and solutions with the press of a button to reinforce learned concepts. Users can view the correct answers and solutions after responding to randomly generated questions.

Out of the 79 applets available, 19 are Concept and Topic Applets, 27 are Question Preparation Applets, and 33 are Random Question Applets.

The unit and class tests included in the application are also designed using applet technology. The questions originate from millions of distinct items determined by random algorithms through the application's analytical engine rather than from a finite set of static questions. After completing a unit or class test, users will receive a small report card indicating their performance, which they may share with family and friends if desired.
