GongHag Radio is dedicated to the inheritance and innovation of Hakka language and culture, with the aim of making Hakka a mainstream language in Taiwan. The term "GongHag" refers to speaking Hakka (language inheritance), transmitting Hakka sounds (cultural sharing), and discussing Hakka matters (participation in Hakka public affairs). Through refined, youthful, and cross-ethnicity program content, it aims to attract both Hakka and non-Hakka audiences to preserve and innovate Hakka language and culture, thereby promoting a nationwide "GongHag" atmosphere and making Hakka a mainstream language in Taiwan.

GongHag Radio is the first national channel Hakka radio station.
