Industry Bank Smartphone Banking

1. Overview

The newly updated Smart KDB allows personal customers to access banking services safely and conveniently, including account inquiries, transfers/payments, financial products, and non-face-to-face services. Please note that devices with a history of rooting or hacking are not compatible with Smart KDB.

2. Enhanced Services

• Mobile Easy Authentication
  - Log in to smartphone banking and access all menus without an OTP using convenient authentication methods (simple passwords, patterns, or fingerprints). Transfers up to 10 million KRW per transaction and 50 million KRW per day can be made without an OTP; amounts exceeding this require OTP input.
  - Customers enrolled in the mobile easy authentication service can apply for convenient cash withdrawals through smartphone banking and withdraw small amounts (up to 1 million KRW per day) from Industry Bank ATMs without a cash card.
• Quick Notifications and Tailored Information
  - Receive quick and convenient updates on transaction history, financial information (such as fund yields and exchange rates), and marketing alerts via PUSH notifications.
  - Access personal banking information at a glance with MY KDB, including frequently used accounts and items of interest.
• Smart Banking and Identity Verification
  - Get insights on routine transfers, bill payments, and frequently used menus through AI analysis of financial transaction patterns.
  - Open new accounts and manage banking services via mobile with non-face-to-face identity verification, eliminating the need for branch visits.
• Reliable Retirement Pension and Mobile Cash Card
  - Most financial products offered through internet banking, including retirement pensions, are also available on smartphone banking.
  - A mobile cash card can be issued via smartphone without a physical card for ATM services.

3. Access Rights Information

[Essential Permissions]

• Phone: To check mobile status and device information.
  This includes malware diagnosis, detection, and blocking of rooting history. Please understand that granting these essential permissions is required for using Smart KDB.

[Transaction Permissions]

• Storage: Allows reading of joint certification files (NPKI) for customers using joint certification.
  Enables reading/writing of Smart OTP via NFC for customers utilizing Smart OTP.
• Camera: Activates the camera for photographing identification documents and QR codes as part of the non-face-to-face real-name verification service for customers using joint certification.

* Permissions required for specific transactions will be requested upon first access. Once granted, further consent will not be sought unless permissions are revoked.
