What is the Bible?
The Bible is a description of God's actions in the universe and what He intended for all creation. It was written over a span of sixteen centuries by forty different authors. This remarkable collection consists of 66 books written in varied styles, all conveying the message God wanted to deliver to humanity.
This collection reveals an astonishing literary genre, filled with numerous stories about both good and evil human experiences, wars, adventures, the life of Jesus, and the early activities of the church. These narratives are conveyed through stories and dialogues, proverbs and examples, songs and folklore, history, and prophecies.
Notably, these events were not recorded at the time they occurred; rather, they were passed down orally for years before being written down. However, there exists a thematic unity amid this diversity.
So, what is the Bible? In addition to the above aspects, the Bible is:

 <li>A comprehensive guide to living. It provides a roadmap for navigating the challenging paths of life. In another sense, it serves as an anchor for crossing the turbulent seas of existence.</li>
 <li>A treasure trove of wonderful stories for both children and adults. Recall Noah and his ark? Joseph's coat of many colors? Daniel in the lion's den? Jonah and the fish? The parables of Jesus? These stories fundamentally recount the triumphs and failures of ordinary people.</li>
 <li>A refuge in times of trouble. Those who have experienced pain, suffering, confinement, and grief have shared how the Bible has offered them courage in dark times.</li>
 <li>A reservoir of insight into our true identity. We are not aimless instruments; rather, we are glorious creations of a loving God who has given us purpose and a future.</li>
 <li>A sourcebook for daily living. In a confusing culture where "anything goes," it helps us establish moral standards, discern right from wrong, and guide our principles.</li>
