The National Digital Library application is centered around services and resources, continuously introducing new technologies to provide in-person services, online transactions, and online resource reading functions for different types of readers.

1. Smart Services: Allows scanning for entry and book borrowing in reading rooms; enables scanning authorization login for the Wenjin Search System, Cloud Portal, and Open Courses System. Explores nationwide public libraries, offering unified search, display, and navigation services for physical collections and National Digital Library electronic resources.
2. Simplified Registration and Login: Offers quick registration via mobile number, online processing of electronic library cards, and login using SMS verification codes; features third-party login options such as WeChat, QQ, and Weibo.
3. Powerful Search Functionality: Includes catalog search (OPAC), electronic resource search, and on-site search. Collection resource search provides access to physical holdings at the national library and supports book reservations; electronic resource search unifies retrieval of various types of electronic resources within the application.
4. Resource Reading: Readers can access over 100,000 Chinese books online, along with thousands of audio, video, open course resources, and a variety of database resources. Offers personalized resource recommendations based on big data analysis for users' individual profiles, as well as curated reading content by staff in thematic formats.
5. Bookshelf Feature: Allows unified management of e-books, audiobooks, videos, and other electronic resources on a digital bookshelf.
6. Personal Center: Gives access to reader reservation information, borrowing details, lending permissions, overdue fines, and other personal information for query and fee settlement.
7. Information and Updates: Publishes National Library news, announcements, lecture schedules; sends out a daily classic poetry recitation at 9:00 AM.

Note: The National Library will continue to use GPS location services. While running in the background will lead to increased battery consumption compared to other operations and may affect battery life.
