In the past, on production teams' fields, there were over ten stone rollers with deep grooves. After harvesting wheat, groups of three to five farmers gathered around a stone roller to thresh the wheat spikes against it. This action was called "guan," meaning to tightly bind the wheat spikes overhead and exert more force upon recoiling back. This process facilitated easy detachment of grain kernels from straw. The term was also used when people engaged in physical fights or competitions. If one party challenged another to "guan a fight" or to "guan something," it meant throwing objects to the ground. In this context of "Daily Asshole," "guan" could mean "to throw." The term "guan" also relates to the principles of physics: just like the tactic of pulling back a fist before extending it out for greater strength. In the strategy of playing Daily Asshole, there are tactics like luring opponents out into the open.
