The application provides real-time updates on news from Romania, sourcing information from public RSS feeds of the nation's leading newspapers, television stations, and specialized news websites. Users have the flexibility to select from these sources or to add additional RSS feeds of their choice.

Upon entering a website, the application attempts to determine if it offers an accessible RSS feed for inclusion. This allows users to tailor their news consumption according to their preferences.

Once sources are added, users are presented with two reading modes: List Mode and Live Mode.

In List Mode, added news sources are organized in a comprehensive list, allowing users to read articles from each source individually.

Live Mode offers a more dynamic experience by aggregating headlines from all recommended feeds into a single continuous stream. Users can view the headlines as they are published, with additional organization by domain for easier navigation.

Furthermore, the "Dă pe Știri" application is designed to be resource-efficient, minimizing data storage and consumption. Key features include:

The application is compatible with mobile devices and tablets. While we do not produce news content ourselves, our team includes journalists who actively monitor our news reading applications.
